ANTONIO Conte was at Aldershot’s EBB Stadium last Friday to cast an eye over Chelsea U23s as they met Everton in the first Premier League 2 fixture of the season.
The Chelsea manager saw Eden Hazard make his comeback from a broken ankle and play 73 minutes with no ill-effects. However, the young Blues lost 3-0 to Everton. A Joseph Colley own goal set the reigning U23 champions on their way and second-half strikes from Beni Baningime and Oumar Niasse wrapped up the points. (photo Ian Morsman)
