Farnham Town are gearing up for the first National League South game in the club’s history this afternoon (Saturday, August 8) when they host AFC Totton.

The Town are playing Step 2 football for the first time in the club’s history, and will host AFC Totton at The Memorial Ground (3pm kick-off) in what promises to be an historic occasion.

Farnham sealed a third successive promotion last season with a comprehensive 5-1 win at home to Gloucester City in the Southern League Premier South play-off final.

The Town went unbeaten in the league as they romped to the Combined Counties Premier Division South title in the 2023-24 season, before securing back-to-back promotions by winning the Isthmian League South Central Division in spectacular style in the 2024-25 campaign.

Farnham finished second in the Southern League Premier South with 84 points in their first campaign at Step 3 last season, before securing promotion through the play-offs.

The Town have enjoyed some impressive results in pre-season this summer, beating Wycombe Wanderers 2-1, drawing 2-2 at League Two outfit Rochdale, drawing 1-1 against National League side Yeovil Town and beating National League outfit Eastleigh 1-0.
