An excellent 4-0 win on the road at Hayling Island on Saturday ensured Liss Athletic will retain their Hampshire Premier Football League Senior Division status.

Seamus Evans opened the scoring for the Blues in the first half – his 12th goal of the campaign. Dan Clark, Angus Mackay and Theo Glazier were also on target for the visitors.

Liss Athletic’s reserve team drew 3-3 against Millbrook in the Hampshire Combination East Division. A frantic start saw three goals in the opening ten minutes, with Will Headley putting Liss ahead in the second minute, before Millbrook went 2-1 up.

A superb free-kick from Dean Jarrett levelled for the hosts, before Millbrook got their noses in front from the spot early in the second half. Jack Christou levelled to take a share of the points.
