PETERSFIELD TOWN 0, AFC DUNSTABLE 7 (Evo-Stik Southern League Div I Central)
THE sloping Love Lane pitch, often with a bobbly surface, used to be a fortress for Petersfield. Not any more as the relegated Rams conceded seven goals against AFC Dunstable.
The ailing Rams, with only one substitute on the bench, were two goals down inside eight minutes.
First, keeper Connor Beattie misjudged the bounce of the ball and striker Bernard Christie tapped into an empty net.
Christie had a big hand in the second as his cross was redirected into his own net by Matt Andrews.
Jermaine Hall got the third and with half-time approaching, the visitors notched two more goals in a minute.
Terry Griffiths slotted home at the far post and Hall snapped up his second after good work by Christie.
With the game won at 5-0, Dunstable made changes for the second half and only 15 minutes remained when Hall completed his hat-trick with his 29th league goal of the season.
In the dying seconds, a Newman Carney cross was stabbed home by his brother, Brandon.
Petersfield visit Hanwell Town this Saturday.
