DIVISION Three provided the lowest net score at Cowdray Park Golf Club’s November Medal.
With the course in fine condition, a resurgent Bernie May recorded a net 65, while runner-up Graham Angell, also regaining his form, shot a 69.
The Division One winner, with a net 68, was a relative new member, Richard Presscott, ahead of club champion Todd White on 71, taking second place on count-back from Sean Gallagher. White recorded the day’s lowest gross score of 74.
Laurence Potts topped Division Two with a net 67, on count-back from Nick Sampson, with Adam Exall third on 71.
Cowdray Park Seniors’ November Stableford included the final rounds of the Ken Young Eclectic and Carter Trophies.
Mark Kelly made an early statement with 37 points, but the winner was Wally Mitchell on 39, one ahead of Richard Burden who had twos on the ninth and 17th holes. Arthur Mayson shared third place on 37.
In Division One, Mark Kelly, Paul Owen and Allen Sibley all came in with 37 points before Rod Brown raised the bar to 38.
John Hall, leader of the Eclectic at the start of play, then amassed 40 points, as did John Newman who finished his round in the gloom. Newman lost out to Hall on count-back.

Twos: Peter Hallt, Mick Fillary, Harvey Terry (11); Gordon Kendall, Richard Burden (17): Alistair Proctor, Dave Coombes, Richard Burden (9)
Harvey Terry was the eventual Eclectic winner with a final score of 56.5.
Mel Milburn took the Carter Trophy by just one point from John Newman.
