TALENTED teenager Lottie Woad has scooped yet another award.

After a successful season on the golf course which saw her represent England and land a host of silverware, the 15-year-old has been named under-18 sports personality of the year at the Surrey Sports Awards.

It follows hard on the heels of landing a similar honour at the Farnham Sports Council Awards in November.

The captains and vice-captains of Farnham Golf Club, club manager Ben Beagley and head professional and Lottie’s coach Luke Bone were at the awards ceremony along with Surrey Ladies County Golf Association president Val Howard and captain Lorna Robey, and Weydon School director of PE Karl Brown.

Lottie, a member at Farnham Golf Club, said: “I’m very proud and happy to win this award. It’s great that Surrey have recognised golf with this award, and girl’s golf in particular.”
