FARNHAM Golf Club Ladies held their 37th Club Championship (36 holes) and third Golden Championship (18 holes) last week.

It rained for most of the day, but that did not deter players from coming in with excellent scores and there was a lively atmosphere in the clubhouse afterwards and at the Championship supper.

Farnham’s 2017 Ladies Champion is Sandra Coombstock, in her first year at the club, who left the rest trailing with a gross 166 for the 36 holes, 11 shots ahead of runner-up Elaine Lewis on 177.
