The annual Niki Hogan Breakthrough Breast Cancer Cup Day was held at Petersfield Golf Club in memory of Niki Hogan – who in her early 30s lost her battle with breast cancer in 1995.

The day raised £1,000 – which was the best effort in years – thanks to the generosity of the 32 players and other members.

The winner of the stableford competition was the current and eight-time ladies’ champion Lesley Eaton.

Lesley had never won the competition until this year.

Petersfield Ladies’ captain Jennifer Neal presented the Niki Hogan Cup to Lesley.

Jennifer thanked member Jackie Carter and her helpers for organising the day – which included a ball sweep raffle with balls supplied by some of the lady members.
