WHILE Harry Charles of Bwntworth was taking the Welsh Masters Grand Prix title, his sister, Sienna, was claiming a crown of her own at the Pony of the Year show in Leighton Buzzard.

Sienna, 14, a pupil at Alton Convent, rode to victory in the top JA Grand Prix feature class on her father Peter’s nine-year-old stallion, Magic Cornflakes.

Eight riders made it through to the jump-off and Sienna was drawn first to go over the 1m 35 track.

Super-cool and dismissing any nerves, she jumped the only double clear round and was five seconds faster than any of her rivals – a worthy winner indeed.

Sienna was placed in every class she jumped in on Magic Cornflakes and her other pony, Billy Wish. She also received the Leading Rider of the Show award in the JA section.
