A project to encourage people to travel to Alton railway station without using cars has received £192,650 in Community Infrastructure Levy funding from East Hampshire District Council.
The £225,000 Hampshire County Council scheme includes secure cycle parking, a taxi waiting shelter, better pedestrian accessibility, footway modification and real time bus information.
