The battle against prostate cancer will continue in Bordon this weekend as a life-saving event will be held in town.

A PSA Blood Test Event for men aged 50 to 80 will be held this Saturday (May 16) at Bordon Masonic Centre.

The Hampshire & IOW Freemasons have joined forces with the Prostate Cancer Support Organisation to host the appointment-only event from 10am to 3pm.

Doctors recommended that every man aged over 50 – or 40 if there is a family history of prostate cancer – knows their PSA, especially as the test procedure is quick.

A small blood sample will be taken with participants being informed of results within ten days, to book an appointment visit www.pcaso.org/psa-testing
