HAMPSHIRE County Council is asking residents to have their say on bus subsidies, as it emerged this week that its review on spending will include looking at Whitehill and Bordon's Eco-bus.

However, although every subsidised bus in Hamp-shire will be investigated in a bid to save money, Sean Woodward, executive member for economy, transport and environment at the county council, said the funds set aside to run the round-town eco-bus were not in the firing line.

"The eco-bus has been funded through separate funding related to the eco-town," he told the Bordon Herald.

"It is not proposed to take this funding away, but as part of the consultation we are seeking feedback on all those services which receive funding to understand how these meet community needs and their future priorities."
