Officers from the Rural Crime Taskforce (RCTF) dealt with several incidents in and around Bordon last Friday night.
The first call came after a vehicle left the main road and came to rest on a grass verge along a national speed limit route. Members of the public reported the incident, concerned for the driver’s welfare.
RCTF officers arrived to support local units and found the male driver awake and speaking, but a breath test showed he was three times over the legal drink-drive limit. He was arrested and taken into custody.
Later in the evening, officers were called to an emergency in Petersfield, where a second male was arrested. After returning to Bordon, RCTF were dispatched again to assist with an ongoing incident, which was resolved as officers arrived.
