LEADING Hampshire Liberal Democrat Adam Carew is calling on the Government and the EU to use Britain's "economic and diplomatic leverage" to bring peace to the Gaza region in the Middle East.

The Bordon and Whitehill councillor is being backed by his party's foreign policy expert, Ming Campbell.
