TOWN, district and county councillor turned author Adam Carew has presented a free copy of his Ghosts of East Hampshire book to Bordon library.

The presentation follows his talk to the library in February.

Mr Carew said: “I was determined that our own library here in Whitehill and Bordon had a free copy for local residents to borrow.

“I believe strongly in the principle of free lending libraries and we are very lucky to have such an excellent little library here in Whitehill and Bordon. I feel very honoured that my book will be on the shelves of the very library where I spent so much time in my youth and early 20s.

“My thanks to our very helpful staff for all their support and enthusiasm.

“I have more ghost talks planned and I am always happy to take bookings from community groups, village halls, libraries and interesting venues.

“If anyone has a local ghost tale they would like to pass on, which does not feature in Ghosts of East Hampshire, please let me know. My next book Ghosts of Hampshire will be published this summer.”
