A drug-driver from North Farnham won’t be allowed behind the wheel for a year after testing positive for cocaine and its breakdown product.
Guildford Magistrates heard last Saturday that high levels of cocaine and benzoylecgonine were found in Mason Harris’s blood following a test on November 29 last year.
The 26-year-old of Lawday Link, Upper Hale, was given a blood test after being stopped by police on Folly Hill.
He gave a reading of 92 micrograms of analyte per litre of blood for cocaine, and 800 for benzoylecgonine, with 10 and 50 being the legal limit, respectively.
Harris was given a 12-month driving ban, fined £400 and ordered to pay £85 costs with his guilty plea being taken into consideration.
