CITIZENS Advice East Hampshire (formerly CAB) held a Christmas lunch at the Angel Inn in Privett to give thanks to the organisation’s 100 volunteers from all three offices based in Alton, Bordon and Petersfield.
In his speech, chief executive Jon Stuart thanked all the volunteers for their hard work. He said: “Our volunteers are key to the work we do in supporting our clients in dealing with the challenging issues they face in their day-to-day lives.”
Citizens Advice East Hampshire is a voluntary organisation providing advice, information and support to district residents on issues such as housing, relationship and family issues, debt and benefits.
Most of this advice is provided by trained and supported volunteers, who give their time and expertise for free to support their communities.
