DESPITE allegations of being a nuisance, a gypsy family has been given permission to stay in its caravan homes at Fern Farm, Greatham, for three years.

East Hampshire District Council's south planning committee agreed that applicant Daniel Shea, who lives at the farm with his father Danny, could continue to use the land as a caravan site for a single extended gypsy family.
