People in Bordon have shown bags of enthusiasm for a New Year bid to clean up the town.
Cllr Adeel Shah and his Ahmadiyya counterparts have invited residents to start the year by giving back – and to join their annual New Year’s Community Clean-up.
People who want to join the litter pick and clean-up should meet outside the Forest Centre Lidl for a 7.15am start on Thursday, January 1.
More than 50 people have already registered for the clean-up, with gloves, bags and a hot breakfast being provided by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community UK.
The group also delivered 300 gift parcels to people who live around the Jalsa Salana UK site between Kingsley and East Worldham before Christmas.
