POLICE would like to speak to a man with links to Surrey and Hampshire following an attempted robbery in Westminster.

Officers at Westminster CID would like to speak with Aaron Sinclair, 25, after a lone woman was attacked at around 1.30am on November 12.

The victim was walking in the street using her mobile phone when she had a bike lock placed around her neck as a man approached her from behind.

When she began to resist, the man dropped the lock and ran off.

Sinclair is originally from Scotland but has links to London, Surrey and Hampshire.

A police spokesman said, if seen, Sinclair should not be approached, that people should call 999.
