FOLLOWING two disappointing Ofsted reports, being put into special measures twice and four headteachers in less than a year, the future looks brighter for Bordon's Mill Chase Community Technology College which, on November 1, becomes an academy.
The move will give Mill Chase greater freedom to choose what is best for the school and its pupils, and more control over its budget.
There will also be a new headteacher, who will soon be chosen from the candidates recently interviewed at the school.
The new academy will be run by the University of Chichester Multi-Academy Trust, established by the University of Chichester.
