RESIDENTS may notice a reduction in water pressure and some discolouration as South East Water undertakes a deep clean of Bordon’s underground drinking water pipework.

The work, which started on September 30, will take place for up to four weeks and involve pumping water through pipes at high speed to flush out naturally-occurring sediments.

Despite not being harmful, these can cause customers’ water to appear discoloured, but this is temporary and can be solved by running the kitchen tap until the water runs clear.
