THE sun was shining for a pirate treasure hunt at Bordon’s Hogmoor Inclosure on Saturday.

Children and parents joined DD Storyteller, a host of sea creatures, pirates and a mermaid to search for Polly’s “pieces of eight”. The event was organised by the Whitehill and Bordon Regeneration Company.

The children decorated their own treasure chests with the gems they had found during their woodland treasure hunt and all received a certificate.
