Whitehill Town Council has confirmed a list of sports it wants for the proposed multi-use games area (MUGA) at Mill Chase Recreation Ground.

At the executive meeting on Thursday, January 22, members agreed to propose basketball, football, netball, hockey, tennis and pickleball for the facility.

Plans for the MUGA are progressing on the former Mill Chase car park and Whitehill Town Council is moving forward with consultation and planning in the pipeline.

Councillors also revealed potential opening hours of 8am to 9pm subject to planning permission and a £20 hire charge, with half price for schools and a possible discounts for clubs.
