MR Giant took his circus skills and balloon modelling show to Whitehill Village Hall as part of East Hampshire District Council’s Rural Areas Play Project (RAPP) during the half-term holiday.

The venue also hosted Penguin Pals, a chance to make toy penguins using empty plastic water bottles. At Ropley Parish Hall, the RAPP activities for younger children were candle making and a Valentine’s afternoon.

There were two opportunities to build a Lego Antarctic base at the Gilbert White Field Studies Centre in Selborne, and to learn about creatures that live in Antarctica, plus those that lived there in the past - including dinosaurs.

RAPP ended at Woodlands Hall in Headley Down, with stone painting in Story Stones and Kindness Rocks, and turning plastic bottles into fish, rockets, bird feeders, turtles and ladybirds.
