POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in her car on the A3 near Liss on Monday.
The incident occurred around 11.30am when the drivers of a red Nissan Micra and a silver Range Rover were involved in a dispute at the Ham Barn roundabout.
According to police, the two vehicles had been travelling on the northbound carriageway of the A3, north of Petersfield, when they came to a stop at the roundabout. The driver of the Nissan has been described as approximately 30 years of age, white, thin, with blonde tied-back hair. She had tattoos on her upper chest and was wearing a strappy top.
PC Michael Nol, of Havant Police, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or the moments prior to the assault. We would also like to speak to anyone who can help us identify the driver of the Nissan Micra so that we can speak to her about what happened.”
