WHITEHILL Town Council considered early outline options for the proposed inner relief road on Monday.

It is suggested that the new road would alleviate existing and future congestion in and around Whitehill and Bordon, facilitating through traffic to compliment the eco-town centre.

At the meeting, Hampshire County Council's highways engineer, Tim Wall, presented councillors with a number options for where it could be situated.

The inner relief road will be part of phase one of the eco-town development and is set to be delivered between 2015 and 2019.
