STAFF and governors at Woodlea Primary School have said they are "working very hard" to improve the school following its latest Ofsted inspection which deemed it "inadequate".
As a result of scoring an overall grade four, the lowest possible mark, following its inspection in November, the school in Whitehill's Atholl Road has been placed in special measures.
In Ofsted's report, published last Friday, the Government inspectors marked the school as "inadequate" in the categories of: achievement of pupils; quality of teaching and leadership, and management. The behaviour and safety of pupils received a grade three, which means it "requires improvement".
