THE deadline for nominations for the East Hampshire Sports Awards is tomorrow and the final call has gone out to sporting clubs, volunteers and athletes not to miss the boat.
Organised by East Hampshire District Council, the team is particularly keen to attract more nominations for Junior Volunteer of the Year, Junior Team of the Year, Junior Disability Sportsperson of the Year, and Senior Sportsperson of the Year.
The awards will be hosted by TV personality Fred Dinenage at Old Thorns Hotel in Griggs Green, near Liphook, on February 16, when the guest speaker will be Olympic gold medallist hockey player Alex Danson.
