SOME 350 soldiers from Bordon's 4 Close Support Battalion of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers paraded through Alton High Street last Thursday, after a six-month tour of Afghanistan.

With them was the battalion's division which had been doing a clear-up operation in Kuwait.
