TOWN residents are being invited to an informative bike tour around the training area of Prince Philip Barracks, in Bordon’s Budds Lane, to view the site “as you have never seen it before”.
Starting at 10am on July 9, the tour will include looking at classrooms, dog kennels and tank pits and cycling through the hangers.
The bike tour is open to all age groups and abilities. Participants can take their own bikes or hire them, and motorised and adapted bicycles are available. The tour is being provided by Alice Holt Cycle Centre and it is free to take part and hire bikes.
Naomi Metcalfe, community development officer at the Whitehill and Bordon Regeneration Company, said: “The bike tour is back by popular demand following the success of the first event earlier this year.
“The bike tour promises to be a fun and educational day out, and we thank Alice Holt Cycle Centre for its help in staging this event for free.”
* If you would like to book a place on the tour in advance of the event, telephone Alice Holt Cycle Centre on 01420 521297.
