Whitehill & Bordon’s handiest group has been given a massive lift as their workshop has been put into place.

Everything has finally fallen into place for Bordon Men’s Shed as their new workshop cabins were delivered from Wernick’s of Farnham last week.

The converted shipping containers were lifted into place behind the Phoenix Theatre & Arts Centre on Station Road to finally create a permanent home for the group, nearly four years after they left Building 64.

“We will now start to transfer our machinery and tools into the cabins and start to set up it up as a meeting place for men and women to work with wooden objects and talk to each other,” said BMS spokesperson, Clive Handy.
