HORSLEY &?Send beat Waverley by 8 wickets (40-overs game). Waverley elected to bat and James Wright and Marcus Carmichael started brightly. Wright went on to score a fine 92 and with debutant Tom Heighes making 23 and Adrian Day 30 not out, Waverley reached 193-9 against the nine different bowlers used by Horsley.

Day and Connor McGregor, another debutant, bowled well when Horsley replied, but opener Collett made a fast 75 before retiring. A?Flemming, T Flemming and Burton continued to attack and the home side eased to victory with 2.3 overs to spare.
